Peach Dreams
June 7th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · No Comments

peach dreams
If I didn’t have any experience
I wouldn’t know that
a small, hard, greenish fruit
will eventually make my hands sticky
gush on my face
melt in my mouth
cause the children to ask
what’s baking in the oven,
or that I would be researching recipes
for peach preserves to spread
on some fresh warm bread
in the dead of winter.

Hanging by a Thread
May 18th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · 2 Comments
There’s a thread
that goes back
to the start,
the key to
everything
that unfolds
in reverse.
But there’s no
reason to
go back there
only know
that there’s a
karma trail
all your own
another
one we share
and one for
each contact
you ever made
all woven
in a web.
The white spider
spins but not
always. Sometimes
there’s threads
in need of
untangling.

white spider moment
May 17th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · No Comments
in time
there’s rhyme.
rhythm
vibrates
each string
making
music
for work
in the
right place
at the
right time.
focus
so as
not to
waste a
moment’s
notice
when it
arrives.

when the white spider pounces
May 16th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · No Comments
she is most vulnerable
when she displays her desires
acting instantaneous
attempting to acquire
what motivates her actions
the prey that saves her spirit
to pray for the right outcome
and never ever fear it
pouncing always has a purpose
presumed preferences
plenty of preparation
pointed points of references
leading to the very center
of the white spider’s weaving
where she resides sometimes hides
always hears her own breathing.

white spider memory
May 14th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · No Comments
memory
is in her
dna,
her path to
her way of
connecting
the future
to the past
with a thread
of data,
woven with
open source
dream language.

The White Spider Leaps
May 12th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · No Comments
Sometimes sunny summer plans
seem like far away fantasies;
what work was woven has been
whipped in the wind and worn away.
Gatherings of good and gracious people
have thinned down to the few who
whistle, work and walk in any weather.
Vision is the ability to view the veil
and the vague but valuable hints
of what can be when she continues
along the course set, contrary to
the expectations of the blind.

White Spider Worries

Making mistakes
missing details
deterrents to
democracy
security
getting the big
picture just right
each error costing

Beautiful Whiskers
May 10th, 2010 by marthacinadermims · No Comments
Who says a man can’t be beautiful
and flowers can’t have beards?
My lover’s lit face
shines bright like
a yellow flower with whiskers.
Each curve that I know so well wet
with sparkling gems an aura
of brilliance.
