this flower

October 31st, 2008 | Category: Poem of the Day
seeing my hands understand the nature of shapes and warmth

eyes can’t possibly feel or react to

hearing my heart sound out every part that is all of you

all of you i love without a doubt

entraptured by the fragrance emitting from your essance

a dance your body flows freely

a kiss lips met parted spirit melts shooting bursting sunshine

warming a universe our world

our bodies come together coming forever whenever

love meets our power

a stroll only 2 one can cross fields of power streaming

beauty brightness

this flower

you

Cycles

for G. M.&lt

I. THE MOTHER

The emerging impersonal

taken personally—

to crack the shell

an institution

called all-knowing love

I feared

I would be the moon

perpetually eaten

by the days—

disappointment & guilt

The Forbidden Zones

October 21st, 2008 | Category: Poem of the Day

“As he (Keitner, an S.S. guard) showed me

the main dining room, he smiled and said,

‘you see, of course, how the Fuhrer

appreciates comfort”.

-                    one of Hitler’s maids anon.

Hesitate at the fitchetlock

he may be barring the door

                             then

                                  sniff the ostentatious life.

Ignore voluble bantering

of servants in white

chiming as they reach

giddy-points of the room.

Lifted By Your Light

October 16th, 2008 | Category: Poem of the Day

Shattered Glass,
Broken hearts,
bleeding soul,
drifting lifeless body out to sea.

Lifted by the spirit
of a golden sound
brought back to life.

Here I am,
so different,
ashore I walk
far from that of what I was.

forgetting everything,
is easy when I don’t remember
I’m not a puppet
on that string.

Golden mystery
inside my head
the sound of a bewitching melody
running through my veins.
You gave me back my life,
you showed me how to fly.

You don’t even know what you’ve done
for me.
Broken melody,
put me back together,
brought me to my destiny,
vanished my pain.

Do you know what you do?
