Federal Reserve

Category: Poem of the Day

Please reserve me a seat
on the federal reserve board
cuz I know there’s no election
just selection for that chair.
It’s not in the constitution
this institution that prints the
money that costs money
money that costs money
money that costs money.

I want to be in that seat
where there’s always cash flow
cuz I know that’s my sweat
you bet, making money on misery;
it’s a mystery but so it goes
cuz my father owes their fathers
money that costs money
money that costs money
money that costs money.

I want to sit in that seat
and run the print shop
cuz I want to be a winner
no matter what happens to you.
Vote for whoever you want
they’ll be working for me cuz
money costs money
money costs money
money costs money.
