Ocean Blue

My mother gave birth
in her blue depths
and cradled me
next to the undulating rhythms
of her heart.
Blue ripples of love
extended everlasting
to her shores
where she deposited me under
a blue sky.
I strode boldy away
and almost forgot where
I came from
until I saw her reflection in
a blue dream.
Flowers floated by
and I was caressed
by dancing trees
who whispered secrets to me in
shades of blue…..
