“Would you look at my art?”
I said yes, to warm brown eyes
Looking into mine, and searching
For that part of us that was similar
That understood art
feelings transposed on paper with words, colors, and dreams
Creating who we are
Dreaming of who we might be
Pouring out of our hearts
That part of us
Familiar through lifetimes, upon lifetimes
Of devotion to words, color, and light
Nice. I liked it.
