The Light of the Sun
The light of the Sun
can be Seen even
on a cold cloudy day.
Its rays shine from
each petal of each flower
reaching upward
to drink warmth
and wisdom and
display their charms.
I Remember Summer
After several days of sun
I remembered to water the garden.
While I was standing there
with the hose in my hands
I looked at all the weeds
watered by the rainy days past.
But I remember Summer
when winter remnants
were cleared and seeds planted
and plenty was the theme every day.
