A Noble Game

It is a seduction
it is the seducer
it is a lustful lover
It is narcotic
it is intoxication
it is a season in hell
or heaven with Rimbaud
It is worthy of poetry
it is the poet
it is the poem not yet written
yet being obsessed by it
It is great musique
it is the composer
it is the notes of the symphony
not yet performed
It is playful mind games
it is lofty war games
it is pleasurable madness
a dangerous mate
It is a noble game
not always played
by noble men
